Training Programme

The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is an organisation committed to its immediate economic situation, innovation and, in particular, professional development of young people. One of the objectives is to collaborate with the training of specialised personnel in different areas involving work processes carried out within the organisation. Most particularly, it is interested in fostering professionals’ training in maritime business, port management, and promoting youth access to the labour market in the port sector.

To that end, the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife offers the possibility of curricular and extracurricular training programmes, addressed to university and professional training students with the intention of training them in competences and skills concerning engineering, information systems, economic-financial management, business activity and marketing, human resources, and the port sector in general. Thus, every department annually hosts a certain number of students for this practical training.

In order to make these training programmes possible, the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has signed Educational Partnership Agreements with the following universities and centres:
