Carlos Gonz\u00e1lez, the President of the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, did note that \u201cin view of the winter market consolidation, we strive for the three ports to work together and offer longer periods of stay for cruise ships, which can also lead to new companies\u201d.<\/p>\n
Likewise, Carlos Rubio, the President of the Port Authority of M\u00e1laga is confident that by signing this agreement \u201cwill improve the conditions these three ports offer to cruise companies, being a resounding message for cruise lines and make the offer of these destinations to be more attractive\u201d.<\/p>\n
The agreement includes the commitment to develop specific products and proposals of interest to shipping companies. The promotion of this collaboration and initiatives developed under this agreement will also be a key tool to boost cruise tourism in this sector, as well as bonus proposals to build interest in shipping companies.<\/p>\n
This document reveals that the Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife \u201chas consolidated its place among the four leaders of the stated-owned Spanish ports system, both in terms of the number of cruise passengers and in cruises, which is especially important in the geographical scope of the mid-Atlantic.\u201d<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the Port of M\u00e1laga, as part of the network of the government agency Puertos del Estado, \u201chas consolidated itself as the second Spanish port by number of cruises on the Peninsula\u201d, while the Port of Tangier \u201cis becoming the largest port of the Kingdom of Morocco, with facilities to accommodate the world\u2019s largest cruise ships.\u201d<\/p>\n
A committee set up for that purpose and composed of two representatives from each signatory will supervise the agreement. Their task will be the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of actions derived thereof. [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n
